What we host
The villa works for the kind of occasion that is too personal for a banquet hall and too large for a living room. Birthday parties, naming ceremonies, anniversaries, small weddings and family get-togethers are all things we have hosted.
Celebrations are booked on the Full Villa Retreat rate, which means you have the whole property: no other event running alongside yours and no fixed slot to vacate. The lawn takes the gathering, the BBQ and bonfire handle the evening, and there is a music setup if you want one.
Naming ceremonies and family functions
Barsa and naming ceremonies are one of the things we are asked about most often, and the villa suits them well - a quiet, private space with room for grandparents to sit comfortably, children to run around, and food to be served without a queue.
Tell us the ritual requirements when you enquire. Things like timing around a muhurat, where the ceremony itself needs to happen, and how many elderly guests are coming all change how we set the space up, and it is much easier to plan ahead than to improvise on the morning.
Intimate weddings and anniversaries
For a small wedding or an anniversary, the appeal here is the setting - the Sahyadri valley behind you, a lawn, and the option of an evening that runs late without anyone asking you to wind up. It suits couples who want photographs that do not look like a hotel ballroom.
We are a villa, not a wedding venue, and we will tell you honestly if your guest count is beyond what we can host well. That conversation is better had now than after a deposit.
Corporate offsites
Small teams use the villa for offsites - Wi-Fi runs across the property, there is space to sit and work, and Pune is about two and a half hours away. With two bedrooms plus the glass room this suits a compact team rather than a large department.
Food and catering
A cook is available on request for home-style Maharashtrian food, and breakfast and lunch can be arranged as per our menu card. For a larger function, talk to us about catering when you enquire so we can plan quantities and buy ahead in Wai.

Send us three things on WhatsApp and we can give you a real answer quickly: your date, your guest count, and the type of occasion. From that we will confirm availability, suggest a setup and quote a package.
Long weekends and the October-to-February season book out well in advance, so if your date is fixed, it is worth asking early.
